Project Description

SELF EMPOWERMENT, STAINLESS STEEL

Children are emotional alchemists. They cry, laugh, rage, and smile, sometimes all
within a minute. And then, somewhere along the way, we forget how. This sculpture
captures that forgotten gift. Five polished infant heads, each frozen in a distinct
emotion, joy, sorrow, frustration, wonder, peace. It is a silent parade of feelings that
once flowed freely through us without guilt, shame, or restraint. As adults, we begin to
carry our emotions like burdens. We hold on. We dwell. A single bad moment can
become a bad week, a bad season, a spiral. The same mind that once knew how to
shift like wind now feels stuck like stone. SELF EMPOWERMENT is not about denying
pain or sadness, it is a reminder that our response is our power. It’s an invitation to
reclaim what children do so naturally: To feel deeply, then let go. To move forward. To
choose light. This artwork is a mirror for the self. A personal monument to the inner
truth that: I decide how I feel. I hold the key.
