Project Description

EMOTIONAL CRADLE, STAINLESS STEEL

Suspended in perfect symmetry, five mirrored infant heads hang in stillness until the
moment of motion. This is not just Newton’s Cradle, this is humanity’s cradle. Each
head bears an emotion: from anger to joy. They are newborn, yet ancient. Raw, yet
precise. They remind us that emotion is the very first language we speak and often the
most honest. With every swing, one emotion triggers another. Joy begets sorrow,
sorrow strikes rage, rage rebounds into laughter. This sculpture is a meditation on the
chain reaction of feeling, how even our earliest emotional states are not isolated, but
interconnected. Like a cradle, it rocks us gently between vulnerability and resilience.
Like emotion, it is fragile, reflective, and deeply human. We are all moved. And we all
move others.
